Prof. Nei Kato and Prof. Yuichi Kawamoto received 2023 Best Paper Runner-up Award from IEEE Computer Society Publications Board for their paper published in IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing. The paper is titled "Quantum Computing Based Optimization for Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS)-Aided Cell-Free Network".
