人間社会情報科学専攻Department of Human-Social Information Sciences 51■研究キーワード■■KEYWORDS ■Prof.Tatsuya Horita教 授 堀田 龍也With the development of information technology, society is rapidly becoming informed.Today, as new media emerge with new information technology, we should be smart consumers ofinformation, and we need to initiatively and autonomously participate in media society. It is our urgenttask to examine the relationship between our global and local media society and our/their culture as wellas to promote our media and information literacy and its education.In order to respond to academically examine the way of media that supports a society rapidly becomeinformationalized, our laboratory makes researches with (1) critical view, (2) practical attitude, and (3)collaborative dialog.And we are conducting researches focusing on (A) various categories including history, ideology,culture, art and design in relation to the contemporary media society and media communication and (B)media and information literacy and its education and training support.It is necessary to observe accumulated knowledge and philosophy of media and culture and topractice actively in actual society. For that purpose, we should have a sincere attitude to this fluctuatingand influential media as a research subject, on the assumption of merging theory and practice, digitaland analogue, as well as different positions and aspects.Consider Media and Education that Support the HighlyInformationalized Society情報技術の発展により，社会は急速に情報化しています。新しい情報技術によって次々と新しいメディアが台頭する今日，私たちは情報の賢い消費者であると同時に，情報の発信者としても主体的、自律的にメディアと関わっていく必要があります。私たちが暮らすメディア社会と文化のあり方や，人々が持つべきリテラシーとその教育について検討することが喫緊の課題となっています。本研究室では、急速に情報化する社会を支えるメディアのあり方を学術的に検討するために、(1) 批判的な視点、(2) 実践的な姿勢、(3) 協調的な対話を重視しています。そして、(A) 現代のメディア社会およびメディア・コミュニケーションにおける歴史，思想，文化，アート，デザイン等に関する研究と，(B)メディアや情報に対するリテラシーおよびその教育と育成支援に関する研究の２つに力点を置いて研究を進めています。本研究室では、これまで蓄積されてきたメディアや文化、教育に関する多くの知見や哲学を紐解きつつ、メディア社会の今日の様相を踏まえ、社会の問題を研究し，研究成果を社会に還元していくようなオルタナティブな研究を重視しています。実践と理論の融合、デジタルとアナログの融合、あるいは異なる立場や見地の融合を前提に、メディアという流動的で影響力の強い研究対象に真摯に向き合っていきたいと考えています。急速に情報化する社会を支えるメディアのあり方を検討するSenior Assis.
